"Azerbaijan Investment Company" OJSC has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with "Azersheker" LLC on the investigation of joint investment opportunities in the project of processing malted barley for beer production in order to reduce dependence on imports and support local production. They agreed on the investigation of the investment opportunity and the determination of the directions for the expansion of cooperation. The main goal of the project is to localize the raw materials for beer production by cultivating local brewing barley.

It should be noted that the project will be implemented within the framework of cooperation between "Azersheker" LLC and the Carlsberg Azerbaijan brewery.
